SISTEQ is composed of ordinary members,
supporting bodies and honorary members.
Ordinary member: any person who has made a contribution to the progress of quantum sciences and technologies can join
For new ordinary members, joining SISTEQ involves two steps:
- Submission of the application through the appropriate request form, on the page: https://forms.gle/Ri8HyqqzsaRHTDZi6
Association applications are then evaluated by the Board of Directors.
2. After acceptance, which will be communicated via e-mail, you become a member by paying the membership fee.
The fees for the association are:
- Senior Member annual fee (professor, researcher, technician/technologist with a permanent or tenure-track contract): E. 40.00
- Annual Junior Member fee (post-docs, research fellows or PhDs who have obtained the doctorate title less than two years ago and doctoral students): E. 10.00.
Junior Members are asked to enter the name of the current supervisor.

Supporting members: institutes, companies and bodies
Institutes, companies and organizations can join, subject to approval by the Board of Directors, as supporting members.
The expected fee is E. 500.
The membership application must be sent via e-mail to the address: elisa.ercolessi@unibo.it
indicating the organization's data and indicating: SISTEQ Supporting Member Fee for the year 2024-25.
Once membership has been approved by the Board of Directors, the registration fee must be paid by bank transfer to:

Honorary members: for special merits in the field of quantum sciences and technologies
Upon proposal by the Board of Directors, or by at least twenty ordinary members, the Members' Assembly can appoint honorary members, Italian or foreign, who have distinguished themselves in the field of quantum sciences and technologies.
The appointment as an honorary member is for life and does not involve the payment of the annual fee.
