SISTEQ aims:

• contribute to the progress of knowledge and diffusion of quantum sciences and technologies, also through the establishment of prizes and scholarships and research;
• promote and encourage studies and research on quantum sciences and technologies;
• promote national and international cultural relationships in the field of quantum sciences and technologies;
• maintain relationships with other scientific associations with similar objectives;
• provide the necessary expertise, representation and consultancy to international, national, regional and local bodies for initiatives of interest to quantum technologies;
• promote the visibility of the scientific, technological and industrial skills present in Italy on a European and global scale.

SISTEQ undertakes to:

• ensure the dissemination of knowledge on quantum sciences and technologies, also promoting their teaching in secondary schools and universities;
• prepare training initiatives, particularly aimed at junior figures in the academic, research and industrial fields;
• stimulate technological transfer and incentivize the intellectual protection of results and the establishment of spinoffs in the national community, also acting as a national reference;
• establish a representative forum of all Italian academic and industrial actors in the field of quantum sciences and technologies, open to observers appointed by the competent Ministries;
• integrate the actors referred to in the previous point in the development of a common vision on the future of quantum sciences and technologies;
• express proposals on future strategies for quantum sciences and technologies at both national and international level, in particular in the context of the National Quantum Initiatives of individual European states.
• annually organize a congress dedicated to the progress of quantum sciences in Italy.
